Community Safari
Would you like to join us for part of our Community Safari on 6th August.
Members of Dwellbeing Shieldfield will be hosting a visit from a community group in Gateshead to share more about our neighbourhood, our work and our plans. It will be a great opportunity to hear about our work, meet other Dwellbeing Shieldfield members and friends and people doing similar work across the Tyne. There are two opportunities to attend:
✨ Join us at the beginning (10:30-11.15am, Forum Café) for tea and biscuits. We’ll hear about the history of Dwellbeing Shieldfield, the 100 People film, our community archive, and some of the initiatives we run to help people get to know each other - Flourishing Together, Get Chatty and Get Crafty.
OR
✨ Join us for lunch (11:55-12.30pm, Shieldfield Artworks Garden) for the regular bring-food-to-share Lettuce Eat lunch. You are invited to bring some delicious food to share with others and hear about the work of Shieldfield Grows and the Community Chefs.
Whether can pop by in the morning or have time for a more relaxed lunch, you are welcome to join us to celebrate what makes Shieldfield special. It will be a chance to catch up with old friends and meet new neighbours. You can also find out how to get more involved in Dwellbeing Shieldfield’s projects and initiatives.
Free event - just bring yourself (and some food if joining lunch)!
