Shieldfield Grows in March

Growers Meal and Shieling making

Come and enjoy some warming soup and bread together. Then we will join together to make a small shelter (called a shieling) for the SAW garden by using willow weaving techniques.  Miki and Rebecca, the current Shieldfield artists in residents, will teach us the skills and provide all the tools.

We look forward to welcoming you along!

Please email lydia@saw-newcastle.org or text Lydia at 07514373363 to book.

Part of Shieldfield Grows, a programme of activity that seeks to promote sustainable food production, fair land usage and community flourishing, developed as a collaboration between Dwellbeing Shieldfield and Shieldfield Art Works.
