Join us for a trip to the annual seed swapping event at Linskill Centre, North Shields, to connect with other seed savers and growers. We will take seeds to share from Shieldfield Community Seedbank, saved by our growers last year. Children are welcome with their responsible adult.

Schedule

9.30 am  Meet at Jesmond Metro Station and travel to North Shields

                 Short walk from the Metro (10-15 minutes)

10.00 am Arrive at the seed swapping event at Linskill Centre, North Shields

1.00 pm   We expect to return as a group at 1 pm and back in Shieldfield around 1.30 pm. 

                 You can make your own way back anytime. The event runs until 2 pm. 

Food

Lunch is available to buy from the cafe or you can bring your own packed lunch.

Cost

Day tickets on the Metro are £4.20 and entry to the event is £1.

We have 5 bursary places available to cover the cost of Metro travel and entry. Please contact us to book a bursary place.
