Join us for food, fun and future-planning!
Dwellbeing Shieldfield General Meetings are opportunities to meet other members and to contribute to conversations about our future activities. Come along to find out about Dwellbeing and get more involved. You might want to use this event to share the activities you're involved in as a Dwellbeing member.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
12:30pm - 1:15pm: Neighbourhood Care Walkaround* (optional)
1:15pm - 2:20pm: Community Meal & Socialising (optional)
2:20pm - 3:30pm: General Meeting
You do not have to attend the Neighbourhood Care Walkaround* or the community meal to take part in the General Meeting.
The meeting will include updates from our current activities as well as the opportunity to shape some of our upcoming activity for 2026.
During the meeting, we will be testing a new way to make decisions together as a group. Whether you’ve just joined or have been a member from the beginning, we need you and your ideas!
Importantly…
You can bring your children. A Play Worker will be on hand to help keep children entertained.
Don’t worry if English isn’t your first language. People in our group speak many different languages. We support each other so everyone can communicate and feel included.
We will have radio updates from the Newcastle v Bournemouth game and will aim to end the meeting promptly at 3:30pm in time for the second half!
Please let us know if you can attend

*Neighbourhood Care Walkaround is our monthly community clean up in Shieldfield.
