“I return back to Milan next month and before I leave, I’d love to share some of the things I’ve noticed and learned while being here — things that come from you and from the neighbourhood itself.

I’d also like to share with you the story of the pink sofa, which helped me to start conversations with neighbours. I’d also like to share moments that challenged me, and a few reflections from my research in Chinese villages that I hope might be useful or interesting for Shieldfield too.
